Kitty Pic Of The Day

The Orange Wonder himself

Whoa!!!

Have I really let more than a month go by without a single post??? EGADS! We need to shake out the mothballs and dust off the cobwebs around here! I have been a busy bee with work and school on my end, but I've also managed to do a little bit of artwork here and there. I am now consigning my record jewelery and magnets with a wonderful vintage shop that has just opened up in my town called Fabulous Finds. I've also gotten back to my macro photography, which I shall be posting later on.

I Love My New Shoes! Or, How I Ordered A Pair Of Shoes Without Knowing What They Actually Looked Like

It's true. I ordered these adorable espadrilles from amazon.com. They came in Black, White, Red (with gold tone chain ornamentation), and a mysterious Black/White version. I say mysterious because the website showed the exact same picture for the black pair as they did for the b&w ones. The problem was, they were sold out in my size 2 for all except the black & white.

Now, I'd seen these shoes before, on endless.com. And they had the same issue with the repeating pictures. But nobody had the size two in black, and I figured maybe it was a mistake with the pictures.

I've never taken a chance buying something online without knowing truly what an item really looks like. But the other colors looked so cute, and they were on clearance...

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box after the UPS guy delivered them today! They're POLKA DOTTED! I like them even better than the ones I wanted in the first place. But that's probably the last time I order anything in that set of circumstances.
